Calm, considered and beautifully uncomplicated, the Serene pendant light is one of the designs in the AssembLIT Signature Range — a collection created around the idea that lighting should be as individual as the space it inhabits.
Rather than offering a pendant in one predetermined size and finish, the Signature Range gives you the freedom to make it your own. We provide the design; you choose the proportions, colour and personality.
A different angle on design
The defining feature of our Signature Range is the way each individual wooden piece is assembled at a subtle slant rather than sitting straight.
This angled construction gives the Serene pendant light a sense of movement and depth, creating changing lines, shadows and perspectives as you move around it. Adding visual intrigue to an otherwise beautifully simple form and giving the Signature Range its distinctive character.
But the angle isn’t purely aesthetic — it’s purposeful too. Positioning the pieces on a slant reduces the open space between them when viewed from the side. This helps to shield the exposed bulb and soften direct glare, while still allowing light to filter through the structure and into the surrounding room.
It’s a simple design detail of the Serene pendant light that makes a noticeable difference: more visual interest, less direct glare and a beautiful silhouette from every angle.
One design, six different proportions
The dimensions you choose can dramatically change the personality of your Serene pendant.
Choose from 20 cm, 30 cm or 40 cm in height, combined with either a 40 cm or 65 cm diameter. A low 20 × 65 cm configuration creates a broad, contemporary silhouette, perfect for lower ceilings – while a 40 × 40 cm Serene feels taller and more compact. The combinations in between allow you to find the proportions that work best for your room.
Choose a smaller configuration for a bedroom, entrance hall or reading corner; position one or more over a kitchen island or dining table; or select the larger diameter when you’re looking for a more substantial statement pendant in an open-plan living space.
Choose your colour and finish
Your choice of finish adds another layer of personality. Your Serene pendant light is available in our selection of AssembLIT colours and finishes, allowing you to keep things natural and understated or introduce contrast and colour.

Each component is precision cut and designed to slot together. Your Serene pendant arrives carefully flat-packed for easy self-assembly, making transport simpler and turning assembly into part of the creative experience.
