Our Confident pendant light, is all about presence without pretence because some designs don’t need to shout to get noticed. Strong, angular and beautifully balanced, it has an interesting sculptural quality that catches your attention – but never tries too hard.
The distinctive vertical pieces feature a series of clean angular lines, with a subtle inward step through the middle that draws the eye towards the centre before the form extends outward again. This creates an intriguing silhouette with a sense of structure, proportion and visual balance.
It’s unusual enough to be interesting, but not so unconventional that it dominates the room.

Strong Lines, Balanced Form
The angular profile of Confident gives it a distinctly architectural feel, but there is a softness in the way the individual pieces come together as a complete pendant.
There is strength in the repeated lines, but also restraint. The indented middle section breaks up the silhouette and creates an interesting interplay between positive and negative space. Viewed from a distance, the pendant feels balanced and composed. Move closer – or walk around it – and the individual shapes and angles become more apparent.
It’s this combination of strong geometry and subtle detail that gives Confident its character.
Rather than relying on an elaborate form to make an impression, the design uses repetition, proportion and carefully considered angles to create something distinctive and memorable.
The Signature Slant
Like every design in our Signature Range, the Confident pendant light incorporates one particularly important detail: the individual vertical pieces are assembled at a slight angle.
This signature slant adds another dimension to the pendant. Instead of the pieces lining up in a rigid, predictable formation, they overlap visually as you move around the light, creating a sense of depth and subtle rotation.
With Confident’s angular profile, the effect is particularly striking. The indented middle sections shift in relation to one another, drawing the eye into and around the pendant and creating interesting changes in light, shadow and negative space.
The angled assembly is also purposeful. By reducing the open space between the individual pieces, it helps to soften direct glare from the exposed bulb, while still allowing light to filter beautifully through the pendant.
It’s a small detail that makes a significant difference – both aesthetically and practically.
Choose Your Proportions
The Signature Range has been designed to give you the freedom to create a pendant that feels right for your space.
Your Confident pendant light is available in three heights – 20 cm, 30 cm and 40 cm – and two diameters – 40 cm and 65 cm.
The different combinations allow you to change not only the dimensions of the pendant, but also its overall personality. A wider, shallower Confident feels bold and architectural, while a taller configuration emphasises the vertical lines and creates a more elongated sculptural form.
Choose a compact version for a bedroom, kitchen counter, entrance or smaller living space, or opt for the larger 65 cm diameter when you want your Confident pendant light to become a feature over a dining table, in a living room or within a generous open-plan interior.
Colour It Confident
Your choice of finish can completely change the personality of the design.
The Confident pendant light is available in our full range of colours, allowing you to keep things understated and neutral or make the pendant a stronger feature within the room. Darker tones emphasise its angular silhouette, while softer shades allow the shape, shadows and changing negative spaces to take centre stage.
For a warmer, more natural aesthetic, choose Premium Woodgrain, where the beautiful timber character adds another layer of texture and individuality to the finished pendant.
