Chenin Blanc is known for its versatility: fresh and lively in one expression, richer and more complex in another. Our Chenin pendant light shares that same adaptable character. Its clean, rhythmic silhouette has enough presence to make a statement without overwhelming the room, allowing it to work beautifully across a wide variety of interior styles.
The shape is structured yet light, with the repetition of its individual elements creating an interesting sculptural form from every angle. When illuminated, light filters through the spaces between the pieces, creating a warm interplay of light and shadow while allowing the pendant itself to remain the focal point.

Unlike some of our other AssembLIT designs, Chenin is available in one standard size. Its proportions have been carefully considered to create a pendant that is substantial enough to hold its own over a dining table, kitchen island, entrance or living area, while remaining versatile enough for a range of spaces.

Every AssembLIT pendant is designed and created locally in South Africa. From the original concept and development of each design through to production and finishing, our lights are made with care and an emphasis on clever design, practicality and individuality.
We believe good design doesn’t need to be complicated — or inaccessible. Chenin is supplied flat-packed and ready for easy self-assembly, transforming from a compact collection of precisely cut components into a beautifully dimensional pendant light.
Assembly is simple and intuitive, and there’s something particularly satisfying about watching the shape take form in your own hands.
Ready to Hang
Your Chenin pendant comes standard with a 1m cordset, so you have what you need to complete your light. If your space has a high ceiling, double-volume area or simply requires a longer drop, contact us for a longer cordset and we’ll help you find the right option.
